I thought I'd share this photo with Father (he will always be Father to me) Bosey in it. It was taken, probably, in the late 1950s or early 1960s. It was taken in front of Christ the King Church is Sudbury since there wasn't enough room in front of the Ukrainian church to squeeze all the children into the photo. I was an altar boy under Father Bosey and spent several summers at Villa Maria summer camp. There was a week of camp just for the altar boys and I remember him telling us scary stories at the evening bonfires--just before we went to bed! I spent seven years with Morris in St. Augustine's Seminary, Toronto, 1948 - 1955. I enjoyed cliff climbing with Morris on the Scarborough Blufs adjacent to the seminary property. Because Morris was of the Ukrainian Rite, I was very interested and I spent many evening walks with Morris telling me about Eastern Spirituality. I thought Morris was a very deep thinker, a gentle character, with a wry smile and a beautiful singing voice. After his and my ordination in 1955, I want back to Regina and so lost contact with Morris. Eventually, I was dispensed from priesthood and married, and later heard that Morris married as well, and we renewed contact. We emaailed each other regularly, mostly discussing spiritual matters. Contact between us became scarce after he and Eleanor entered a senior care facility. I was saddened to find out from a mutual firend that Morris had passed away. May his memory be a blessing. Thanks for your shared memory. Morris Bosey was one of the greatest positive influences in my life as a teenager and altar boy at St. Mary's parish in Sudbury

I remember him as a mental health counsellor at Niagara College & remember the nice conversations we had to this day. as a fellow Ukrainian Canadian myself which I knew about I am sorry for his passing. RIP
