Obituary of Aline Martel

MARTEL, Aline- surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 at the Henley House at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Omer for 59 years. Loving mother of Diane MacMillan (Dave), Joan Guenard (Norm), the late Juliette Jackson (Brian), Viviane Grossi (Steve), Rita Jackson (Bob), Paulette Fernick (Dennis), Raymond Martel and Bernadette Martel. Aline will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 19 grandchildren and her 16 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Claudette Boulanger. A sincere thank you to all of the staff The Henley House for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Friday, October 29th from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, October 30th at 9:30a.m.  Burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Thorold to follow. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
