It is with tremendous love and sadness that we announce the passing of Don on October 23, 2021 at the age of 77. He will be greatly missed by his Special Angel, best friend and wife of 48 years, Kathi, his loving daughters Jodi and Dawn and his sons-in-law Rob and Paul. He cherished his role as Papa to Darby, Addison and Haylee.  He will be dearly remembered by his twin sister Christine, her family and all of our extended family members and friends.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Nurse Spencer for sharing our special moment and to all the staff on Unit D at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for all your care and compassion. In accordance with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Funeral will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, (905) 937-4444. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
