June died peacefully on Monday, October 11, 2021 in her 99th year.  Beloved wife of the late William Dent.  Loving mother to the late Duane Ballantyne and mother-in-law to Lecia Ballantyne.  June leaves behind granddaughters, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Special thanks to the staff at Chapel Heights for their care, compassion and kindness towards June.  A heartfelt thanks to Darla and palliative care nurses Meghan and Olivia. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at 1pm on Friday Oct 15, 2021 for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The St Catharines Humane Society or Centre4Women on Queenston Street in St Catharines would be appreciated by the family.
