Obituary of Gennaro Passero
Passero, Gennaro "Gerry" peacefully on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at Niagara Health Network, St. Catharine's Site. Gerry, beloved husband of Ofelia for over sixty years. Devoted father of Linda and her husband Andy, Maria and her husband Marco, and John and his wife Maria. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Julia, Joshua, Matthew, Rachel, and Michaela. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Nicolina (the late Pasquale), Maria (Adelio), Tina (Bruno), Ada (Vince) and his brother Vito (the late Vicky). Predeceased by his brother Vince (Tina), Joe (Lilia),Tony (Carmie) and his brother-in-law Liberato (Elke). Forever missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines 905-937-4444 on Wednesday, October 6th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Celebration of Gerry's life will be held in the ceremony room of the funeral home Thursday, October 7th at 11am. Entombment Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made in Gerry's memory to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
