Obituary of Ann Marie Baker
BAKER, Ann Marie
Passed peacefully at NHS-St. Catharines on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Don Baker (2014). Loving mother of Rob and Mike (Sabra). Cherished grandmother to Meighan. Sister-in-law to Dave (Polly) Baker. The family wishes to thank Eunice Veit for all of the support and care given over the past few years.
Ann worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a lifelong resident of Port Dalhousie, where she was a volunteer and Past President of the Henley Helpers. Ann was a devoted wife to Don, whom she married in 1961. She was an avid supporter of Don and Rob’s passion for lacrosse, and could always be found in the stands cheering them on. Ann will be remembered for her love of family, her laughter, and her smile.
In keeping with Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the MS Society.
