Obituary of Mary Ellen McRae

Mary-Ellen McRae (nee Dunbar) passed away on September 7th, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with various illnesses, at the age of 68. Born to mother, Margaret Hawkins and father,

Clarence William Dunbar. Mary-Ellen is survived by her loving husband, Robert McRae, sons Robert (Kelly), Jason, and only daughter, Courtney (David).

Grandmother of 6, Kyla, Connor, Korben, Spencer, James and Ada. Sister to Billy (Lise) and late sister Helen (Michael), and very close aunt to Kenneth (Sara), Kimberly and Stacy (Alan).

Mary-Ellen was a wonderful mother, aunt, great-aunt and cousin to many, and a true friend to everyone who had the opportunity to know her.

There will be no service for Mary-Ellen in the City of St. Catharines, Ontario. She will be returning home to Montreal to say Good-bye. If desired, donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre in Mary-Ellen's memory would be appreciated by her family.
