Passed away surrounded by her loving daughters at Niagara Health St. Catharines Site in her 87th year; predeceased by her beloved husband Stefan in 2012; survived by her sister Czesia Glowienka; cherished mother of Ursula [Alex] Kehoe, Yvonne [John] Van Lankveld and Barbara Toth; proud Babcia of Lee [Mélanie], A.J. [Cass], Craig, Kristen [Boris], Karin [Aubrey], Carly [Dan]; doting Pra-Babcia of Maksim, Alexa, Mila, Maximilian, Lily and Brooklynn.
Agata was born in Woronucha, Poland and was a child when her family was uprooted, travelling through Russia, Siberia, Uzbekistan, Tehran, and living in East Africa [Tanganyika] for seven years as refugees. After settling into post-war life in Birmingham, England, she met the love of her life, Stefan, and travelled to Canada to marry him in 1953.
In accordance with Agata’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Mrs. Kozinski’s family will receive visitors at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday, September 10, from 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 11, at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls at 1 p.m., followed by inurnment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines. Please observe and respect all Covid-19 protocols if you choose to attend these public events.

Memorial donations to the Niagara Health Foundation would be graciously appreciated by the family.
Agata was a remarkable and resilient woman who faced and overcame many adversities throughout her lifetime.
