BRABANT, Mike “Hammer”
After a very courageous battle, Mike passed away, surrounded by his family at home, on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the young age of 65. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 35 years Tish and his furry best friend Jasper. He was a proud Papa and Pops to Elycia, R.J., Daniel and Brooke and Great Papa to Jadyn, Elle, Danica, Jackson and soon to be baby Calea. He will also be missed by his siblings Rick and Marie, brother-in-law Albert (Lorraine), nieces Patty and Stacey, great nephew Romeo, and many other extended family members and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Serge and Pat, his step-children Tracey (Ron) (2012), Denny (Rachel) (1986), Lisa (2017) and brother Dennis (1990).
Mike lived for his Harley Davidson Motorcycles and his Toronto Maple Leafs. He had retired as a Towmotor Operator from GM after 42 years.
The family would like to thank Dr. Yelamanchili, Dr. Maybee, Dr. Sur, and Dr. Kahlon for all your care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines, at 12:30 p.m. Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. Memorial donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Center or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
All guests attending the visitation or the funeral must wear a mask. All guests attending the funeral are asked to call the funeral home to RSVP
