It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 just shy of his 77th birthday. He leaves behind his doting wife and best friend Barbara of over 57 years. Loving Dad of Sherry, David (Tamara), John. Cherished Grandpa to Anna and Jack. He will be dearly missed by his brother William (Allison).
Jim had a passion for playing and coaching hockey. He will be dearly missed.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. on Monday August 23, 2021. A Private family funeral will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Juravinski Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
