Carolyn Saxton

Obituary of Carolyn Anne Saxton

On the evening of August 15, 2021, with her loving husband of 54 years at her side, Carolyn Anne Saxton passed from this world to be at home with her Lord and Saviour. She left us like she lived, with great peace and dignity, after a decades long battle with illness and pain. Always curious and eager to learn, Carolyn inspired those who knew her to see the world with new eyes on a daily basis. Her love of the outdoors and being in her garden was surpassed only by her desire to share her treasures with those around her; we will all cherish the gifts she made with her hands. She is predeceased by her father Robert George Scott, her brother Gary George Scott and her mother Anne Ruth Scott. She leaves behind her adoring husband Bob Saxton, their sons, Scott, Grant, and Robert, their daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Melissa, their grandchildren, Megan, Hayden, Brett, Owen, Connor, Emma, and Noah, as well as her beloved poodle Molly.

In keeping with Carolyn's wishes, cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, August 20 from 2-4 p.m and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of life for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 11 a.m. at Scottlea Gospel Chapel located at 500 Scott St., St. Catharines.
