Obituary of Jean Ziemianin

ZIEMIANIN, Jean - Passed away on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at Monarch Memory Care in Niagara Falls at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Emil. Cherished mother of Nancy ( the late Fred) Baker, Alan (Bridgette) Ziemianin and Ted (Tia) Ziemianin. She is predeceased by her daughter Irene Socha. Loving Babcia of  Stanley, Alan Jr., Denise, Jennie, Lee and Trisha. Great Babcia of 8 great grandchildren.  Jean worked for many years at Canada Post.  She was a long time member of The Canadian Polish Society Ladies Auxillary, The BruceTrail Club,The Jordan Skating Club and Red Hat Society. Jean loved gardening, sewing and going for walks.  A sincere thank you to Lisa and all of the staff at Monarch Memory Care for all of their care and compassion. The family willl receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, August 16th from 11a.m.-1p.m. A Funeral Service will follow on Monday at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. As per Covid-19 regulations, anyone wishing to attend the Funeral Service at 1p.m. must call the funeral home to notify of your attendence (905)-937-4444. All must wear a mask.  Memorial donations to Alzhiemer Society would be appreciated by the family.
