Obituary of Rebecca McCann
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca "Becky", on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in her 27th year. Cherished daughter of Mike, beloved sister of Shawn. Dear niece of Tammy (Tim), Chester, Betty and Pat. Granddaughter to Linda (Wayne). She will be missed by her many cousins. Becky is predeceased by her mom, Tammy, her uncle Matthew, and her grandmother Linda.
Becky was an energetic, outgoing, funny young woman. She loved horror movies, all things to do with her cats Midnight and Boots, her rabbit Binks, horses, hiking and fishing. Becky had an appreciation for all types of music, especially classic rock. She admired her dad's deep devotion to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and taking the time to ask him "who's playing and who's winning". Becky never left the house without saying "Love you, Dad" . Everyone who had the honour of meeting her loved both her smile and her laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 1-3pm. If desired, donations to Autism Ontario- Niagara Chapter would be appreciated by the family
To honour Becky, her family would like those attending the visitation to wear something with Becky’s favourite colour, purple.
As per the current Covid restrictions, masks must be worn by everyone entering the funeral home.
