Obituary of Nicola Ricciardelli
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nick at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 68th year. He leaves behind the love of his life, Tina. Beloved father of Serena (Joel Crawford), and Sonia (Andrew Norton). Papa-Nonno to Nico, Mariah, Melania, and Nunzio. Nick is survived by his brother, Anthony (Arasay) Predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Natalina.
Nick was a lifelong farmer and the owner of Ricciardelli Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. He loved muscle cars, a good cigar, a nice plate of pasta, and watching Westerns on TV.
Visitation will take place on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5-9pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Ceremony Room on Saturday, July 31st at 11am. For those wishing to attend the funeral service, please call the funeral home to RSVP at 905-937-4444. Reservations are not required for the visitation. As per the current Covid restrictions, masks must be worn by everyone entering the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by Nick’s family.
