Obituary of Thomas Bernard Murphy
With heavy hearts we announce that Bernie Murphy passed away on July 21 2021, surrounded by his family at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Bernie was the husband of the late Margaret for almost 63 years. Survived by his 4 daughters: Sheila (Sam) Morrison, Pat (Don) Boland, Maria (Ken) Menagh, Catherine McKechnie; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Bernie will be dearly missed by his sister Moira and sister-in-law Maureen and his two favourite fuzzy friends, Floki and Pebbles. Bernie was pre-deceased by his parents, Jack and Mary Murphy and his granddaughter, Aislynn.
Born in Liverpool, England, he courageously decided to move his family to Canada in 1974. They have resided in St Catharines since 1975.The family will receive friends, on Monday July 26th at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St, St Catharines from 10am-11am with a funeral service to follow. If so desired, donations to The Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
