Obituary of Wendell Harper
HARPER, Wendell Frederick
Passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, with his sons by his side on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in his 80th year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Josie (2004). Loving father of Paul (Jennifer) and Ryan (Meggan). Proud Grandpa to Aidan, Fallyn, Max, Frank and Leo. Cherished brother to the late David (Lois), the late Ruth (John) Kenny, Alice (Dick) Ellsworth, Philip (Muriel), Freda (the late Doug) Hardy, Bobby (Penny), Nancy (Shane) Rockford, Molly (Daryl) Buote, Edward (Darlene), Joe (Patsy), Rosemary (George) Terry. Dear brother-in-law to Grace (the late Pacifico) Sirignano, Teresa (Lidio) Venneri and Pauline (the late Sam) Memme. Wendell will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Esther.
After 37 years, Wendell retired from General Motors and focused on the things he loved: his family, his garden, his kitchen, golf and travelling, especially to PEI. Those who knew him well were positively impacted by his actions, his expressions, and his meat pies! He will be missed.
