MCINTYRE, Shirley Anne
Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, July 4, 2021 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Loving mother to the late Donnie, Sheila (Marco), Debbie (Rick), Nancy, Tommy (Donna). Cherished Nana of Jeffrey (Megan), Brandon (Kim), Steven, Patrick, Justin, Johnny (Kim), Kelly, Tarin (Ryan), Allison (Andrew), Michael (Angela), Shawn (Jennifer), Jonathan, Gavin, and Samantha. Great-grandmother to 20 grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother to one. Much loved sister of the late Elizabeth (the late Tom), Bobby (Jo), Lillian (the late Walter), Jack (the late Sonya) and Bill (Sandy). Special thanks to her niece Anna-Mae Dupuis for being by Mom’s side and supporting us through everything. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Barbara.
Shirley worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Embassy Suites until her retirement. She loved the Toronto Blue Jays and was a strong supporter of the St. Catharines Falcons, and would go out to games every weekend. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and reading. Nothing was more important to Shirley than her family.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and to LHIN for their care and compassion.
