Obituary of Peter Daniel Birdgeneau
With heavy hearts, the family announces Peter- affectionately called “Pitbull-Pete”- left this world suddenly on June 30th 2021 at the age of 57. He was the first son and second child, forever cherished by his loving parents, Pete and Pat Birdgeneau. A proud father to five: Joshlyn (Kevin) McKenna, Darnell Birdgeneau, Peter Birdgeneau Jr. and Shannon Uronick-Barker; grandfather to: Justin, Joshua, Kian, Lyla, Khiree and Kashus. A cherished brother of four: Cathy (Ted) Scheers, Debbie (Tom Giroux) Birdgeneau, Cheryl (Sam Nickason) Bruce and Darryl (Sheri) Birdgeneau. Peter was predeceased in death by his sweet baby-girl Shannon Birdgeneau.
After 13 years working at General Motors, Peter enjoyed his retirement by being with his family, riding his Harley and entertaining with all his humour and the Birdgeneau chuckle.
Like the words sung by Johnny Cash – “But I know, we’ll meet again some sunny day”.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to: https://www.fightingblindness.ca/resources/stem-cell-therapy-for-vision-loss/
