Obituary of Barbara Joan Wright
WRIGHT, Barbara Joan (nee Foster) March 7, 1939-June 29, 2021 - Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Robert for 62 passionate years. Cherished mother of Brenda Wright, Gail (Craig) Carter and Sandra (Mike) Kalapos. Loving Grandma of Lisa, Marianne, Sarah, Neil, Kaie, Danielle and Steven. Great Grandma of 9 great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her husband and family. Barbara will be sadly missed by all of her friends in Parry Sound and Florida. A special thank you to Dr.'s Sandy and Bob Nosal for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, July 4th from 11a.m.-1p.m. A Celebration of Barbara's Life will follow at 1p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. As per COVID-19 regulations, anyone wishing to attend the visitation or the Celebration of Life, must call the funeral home to book an appointment to attend at 905-937-4444. All guests must wear a mask. Chapel seating is limited to 65 people. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
