Obituary of Jean Ellen Godard
Peacefully, surrounded by family, Jean Ellen Godard (nee Bretherick) left this earth to be joined once again with her beloved husband, Joseph Ernest Adrian (Herm) in heaven on June 13 2021. Loving mother to Rick (Cesca) of England, Susan (Andy) Stevenson and Brenda. Adored by her grandchildren: Danielle (Terry) of North Bay, Erin (Pascal) of Toronto, Heather (Nick) of England and Scott and Trent. Cherished Grandy of Joseph and Sofia. Jean is also survived by her sister Helen (Ron) Lockyer. Jean was an avid card player in both the C.A.W Retirees Centre and Branch 350 of the Royal Canadian Legion. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Breast Cancer Society, Myelodysplastic Syndrome Association and Heart & Stroke or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend gratitude to all the nurses and doctors who provided care for mom at the St. Catharines and Niagara Falls Hospitals.
In keeping with Jean's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 2:00 pm., with a burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, everyone is required to wear a mask while attending the funeral service.
