Obituary of Ludger Hermann Luken
LUKEN, Ludger - Passed away on Wednesday, June 09, 2021 at the United Mennonite Home at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Cherished father of Dennis Luken (Denise), Randy Luken and Gabriela (Doug). Loving Opa of Todd (Christina), Ashley (James), Briar (Jason), Carina (Robert), Spenser, the late Ryan, Chad (Amanda), Chance and Deneka (Jeff). Great Opa of 12 great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving extended family in Germany. Ludger was an avid traveller, visiting all 7 continents in his travels. He always loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the Number 1 supporter of his grandchildren, always present at every game and event. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all of the staff at the United Mennonite Home for all of their wonderful care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Friday, June 11th from 5-7p.m. Due to Covid19 restrictions, anyone wishing to attend the visitation must call the funeral home to book an appointment time to attend the visitation.
