Frost, Joan (nee Casson)
July 2nd , 1930 – May 30th, 2021
After a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Joan on May 30th at the Henley House in her 91st year. She is now reunited with her husband Harry (1993). Loving mother of Bridget, Robin, Adam, Simon (Melanie), and Josephine-Lynn (Rob). Grandmother of Darren, Tyler, Michael, Natalie, Jessica, Brenna, Ellis, Erika, and Bailey. She is predeceased by her son Julien (2004) and her granddaughter Chelsea (1999).
An animal lover, especially dogs, she was a longtime supporter of the World Wildlife Fund. She loved watching nature programs, and going for a Sunday drive alongside her husband, Harry. She loved knitting, made the best “Christmas Soup” and Yorkshire pudding worth fighting for.
In keeping with Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Friday June 25th at 11am where Joan will be laid to rest beside her beloved Harry. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Joan’s family.
