Obituary of Christine Onyskow

Onyskow, Christine (1966 - 2021)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine on May 31, 2021 with her mother and boyfriend William (Bill) Capell by her side, after a courageous 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved daughter of Mary (Zenon 2006) Onyskow. Survived by her brother Mark, niece Jennifer, nephew Matthew, Aunt Ann Pollack and many cousins of the Gula, Tomiuck and Pollack families. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Radhika Yelamanchili and the Walker Family Cancer Centre staff and family physician Dr. Peter Hyatt and Andria. As well as the staff of LIHN service, especially Darla, Roseline, Sarah and Barb of Paramed. The visits from the staff, past and present, of 7/Eleven are appreciated especially from Cindy, Carole, Lorraine and Laura. In keeping with Christine's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines. If so desired, donations in memory of Christine to the Walker Family Cancer Centre and St. Denis Roman Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. A graveside service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery will be held in honor of Christine at a time when it's safe for all to gather.
