Obituary of Aldo Morlacchetti
It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Aldo (Aldebrando) Morlacchetti on May 19, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He will be greatly missed by his adoring wife Elena of 69 years, his son Joe (Natalie) and daughter Anna. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren who were the light of his life; Elaina, Laura, Melissa, Elizabeth, and Brandon as well as his 4 great grandchildren.
He immigrated to Canada in 1966 with family in tow for a more prosperus future for his children, which he greatly achieved. Aldo was a dedicated employee at CVL Products in Thorold for over 20 years. He made many friends along his way. He was never afraid to approach anyone and strike up a conversation. Aldo was very active at Club Roma as well as at St. Alfred Cathoilc Church. He enjoyed gardening, especially looking after his fig trees. Aldo looked forward to Saturday night get togethers with his family playing "Donkey" and eating take out.
The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Aldo's care giving "Dream Team"; Dr. Bojcevski, Dr. Quinn, Dr. Brown, Dr. Alnhisi, Duncan (Pharmacist) and Gail (PSW),with a special thank you to nurse practitioner Scott Gibson as well as family friends who have endured this long road with them.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines, ON. A private family funeral service will take place with entombment to follow. If desired, please make donations in memory of Aldo to St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church
