Dear Katherine and family.
My heartfelt condolences as I hear of Richard's passing. Richard had a hard outer shell, but on the inside he was a kind, generous and loving soul. At the start of my career, Richard took me under his wing and provided me with support, guidance and mentor-ship. I am deeply indebted to him for taking a risk, recruiting me, a young naive female, into a role dominated by men. A true friend and confidant for over 30 years. He will be truly missed. I raise my glass to a life well lived.
