Obituary of Sharon Marie Poirier
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon Marie Poirier on April 8, 2021 in her 75th year. With family by her side, Sharon lost her 3 week battle with cancer and is now on her way home. Sharon is very excited to reunite with her love the late Charles Edward Poirier. Cherished mother of: Darren Martin (Kristin Brown), Charlene Wilson (Mark Koritko), Cherie Bernard (Lyal Whiteoak), Lise Martin (Kevin McClean), Charmaine Clark (Rodney DeRoy) and Steve Poirier (Andrea). Sharon will be sadly missed by her siblings: Pamela Radusin (late Ilija Radusin), Terry and Jacqueline McGean and Larry and Linda McGean.
Deeply missed by her Grandchildren Alicia, Megan, Ryan, Kali, Noah, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Jackson, Easton, Rylan, Cowen, Calla, Sebastian, Isla as well as her great grandchildren Maison, Harper, Soraya and Elena.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered and missed by many extended family members and friends.
Sharon will also be reunited with her parents Lorraine Werezak and Lawrence McGean (Chops), nephew David Dawdy and son in law Rob Wilson.
The family expresses their sincere gratitude to all of Sharon’s caregivers for their care and compassion over the last month.
In keeping with Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines where a funeral service was held on Friday, September 24th at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home ceremony room followed by a burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
