It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Ferne on Monday, March 29, 2021 in her 87th year. Loving mother of Steven, Rodney, Kim (Dave Knapp), Deborah (Steve Woodnutt), Darlene (Jeff Rousell), Elaine and Robert. Cherished grandma of Jennifer, Bradley, Rick, Nicole, Brian. Great-grandma to Chase and Brooklyn.
Ferne will be remembered for her love of animals, especially birds and cats. She will also be remembered for love and devotion to her family.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the first responders and Dr. Kolenchenko for all of their support and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ferne’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
