Obituary of Mario Del Priore
On March 26 2021, Mario Del Priore suddenly passed at the age of 54. Mario was born on September 10 1966 in Guardia dei Lombardi, Italy. Adored and loving husband of Rosetta Del Priore, they immigrated here in 1988 to start a new life in Canada. He was an incredible father to his three beautiful children Anthony (Lucia), Michele and Alexandra. He was a beloved Nonno to Gabriel and Eliana. Beloved son of Angela Ricciardi and the late Antonio Del Priore. Loved son-in-law to Michele and Tanina Ranaudo. Adored by his three brothers Felice (Lena), Domenic (Joanne), Giovanni (Emily) and brother in law to Giuseppe (Leonia), and Raffaele (Marisa) Ranaudo. Beloved Zio of Angela, Anthony, Roberto, Antonietta, Vanessa, Michael, Alexia and Gianluca Del Priore. Tania, Jacopo, Michael, Joseph and Victoria Ranaudo.Kind, compassionate and with a generous heart, Mario was truly treasured by his family, friends and community. He was a pillar of strength and his wealth of knowledge was unparalleled. He was always there to lend a helping hand and never said no to anyone who needed it. The great joy of his life were his wife, children and grandchildren whom he loved and treasured dearly. His love for work and craftsmanship was evident from a young age in the countryside of southern Italy. Always seen working with his hands, Mario brought this love to Canada and persevered to create what is now known as Del Priore Custom Kitchens and has been proudly serving the community for over 25 years.Mario will be fondly missed by his work family who was deeply inspired by his craftsmanship and leadership.His loving family sincerely thanks you for sharing our sorrow. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St, Catharines on Monday, March 29th from 2-4p.m. & 6-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St Catharines on Tuesday, March 30th at 10a.m. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Rankin Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
