Obituary of Florence Mantini

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Florence (Dolly) Mantini (nee Giammattolo) on Wednesday March 3, 2021
In her 93rd year after a brief illness.
Loving Mother to Rosemary, John (Sue), Karen (Iain), David (Oriana), Susan (James), Kellie (Dave)
Grandmother to 13 , Great grandmother to 10 and Stepmother to her extended Mantini family.
Predeceased by her 2nd husband James Mantini and her 1st husband John Cecchi.
Her sisters Virginia, Rose, Lidia and Helen and her brothers Tony, Louie and David.
Survived by her brother-in-law Ed Vasso (Ursula). She will always be remembered for her kindness and quick wit.

Florence was the cofounder of The Better Shade where she worked for over 50 years

Florence loved to play cards with her grandchildren. She was very lucky at Bingo and loved a competitive game of Bocce. The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital as well as the staff of Anchor Pointe. A private family ceremony to be held. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Society or Wellspring Niagara Cancer Support Foundation in honour of Florence.
