Mark Steven Krawec 1960 – 2021
After a short and courageous battle with stage four Cancer, it is with deep sadness and heart-break that his beloved wife Tanya announces his sudden passing on February 7, 2021 at St. Catharines General Hospital. Mark is survived by his sisters, Janice, Cathy, Karen (Tim), Susie and brothers, Paul (Karen - predeceased 2019), Michael (Helen), Gary (Patti) and Jamie, as well as brother-in-law Randy and sister-in-law Teresa and step-children Tia and Grant. Mark is pre-deceased by his father, Paul (2008), his mother JoAnn (2012), mother-in-law Danuta (2020) and his sister, Linda (2011) and brother Ron (2006) and nephew Michael Krawec Jr. Mark will be dearly missed by his many loving nieces and nephews. He is missed by his fur babies, Leo and Mishiu. Mark will always be fondly remembered by his many friends especially the “Shakespeare Squad”. No one spread more love and laughter in one lifetime than Mark did. He had a great love of fishing; “was fishing, gone fishing, will be going fishing” with his fishing bro’ Ron. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Marks family will be having visitations on Friday February 12, 2021, 3:00 to 5:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm and on Saturday February 13, 2021, 10:30am to 12:30pm. Guests must call ahead to the funeral home to schedule a visitation appointment. 905 937 4444. Mark’s family will be having a private funeral service on Saturday at 1:30pm. As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations - maximum number of people in the building is 10 in total. Family and guests must call the funeral home to book a visitation appointment time 905 937 4444. All family and guests attending the visitation or funeral must wear a mask. Family and guests will be seated at social distancing requirements of 2 meters upon entering the Ceremony Room. Cemetery attendance is limited to a pre arranged family request.
