Obituary of Roman Borowyj

BOROWYJ, Roman

Passed away peacefully at Linhaven Home, Wednesday February 3, 2021. Roman was born in Sudbury, On 85 years ago. Lived and worked on the family farm in Vineland for many years. Roman later moved to St. Catharines where he lived with his mother. After her passing, Roman moved to Linhaven where he lived for the past four years. He leaves behind his sister Olga Czerwoniak, nephew Dennis, nieces Phyllis, Christine, Alicia and their spouses. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Funeral Home followed by Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the St. John’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations - visitation and funeral attendance is limited to a maximum number of 10 people in the building. Family and guests must call the funeral home to book a visitation appointment time 905 937 4444. All family and guests attending the visitation or funeral must wear a mask.
