DALEY, Valentine “Val”

With love and sadness we announce the passing of Valentine “Val” Daley on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the age of 59. He will be missed by his sister Millie Daley, nephew Matthew and sister-in-law Elaine (Peter). He is survived by his children Jonah (Catherine), Shawna (Brendan) and Dacia as well as his grandchildren Leo and Autumn. He is predeceased by his parents Val (1997) and Annie (2006) and brother Don (1996).

Val graduated from Sheridan College for Drafting and Niagara College for Human Resources. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball.

Thank you to Val’s Nurses and PSW’s for all your help in allowing him to stay in his home and making him comfortable in the hospital. In accordance with Val’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Due to Covid-19, a Memorial Mass and interment will be held at a later date, where Val will be buried with his parents. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
