Dear Lucy and Chris,
I'm not sure if you remember me but I lived on Myrtle Ave with my mom and dad and remember many a days visiting your mom with my mom, and she couldn't do enough to make it such a welcoming visit. She was such a wonderful, kind lady who was always willing to help anybody whenever she could. I was able to view the beautiful service for your mom online. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. My deepest condolences.
May your mom rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Karen Starsiak Sorrell

Times spent with Zofia as we enjoyed our children and grandchildren together have been special times. At gatherings, Zofia’s traditional recipes were enjoyed by all of us. I have many fond memories of times spent with Zofia and Jan at family events.

Dear Lucy and Chris, my deepest condolences to you and your families. Your parents were good friends and neighbours of my parents for many years. I always thought your mom was a great role model for staying physically active well into her senior years. She would often stop by and chat with my mom on her walks to the Polish delis on Facer St. Your mom is to be commended for selflessly contribing many hours of volunteering in the Polish community. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolence on the loss of your mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. What a remarkable woman with an incredible story of her journey from her native land in Poland to building a life with her family in Canada. My condolence to you both. I never met your mum but I did have the pleasure to know you both. If she was anything like you two, then she was kind, happy and easy to laugh.
God bless

Dearest Lucy and Chris,
Our entire family is deeply saddened by the passing of your Mother. She was an elegant, beautiful and kind woman, even visiting with Mama when she was ill. It was so natural to see her going down the street with her cart on her way to St. Joseph's Bakery.
She was also a very common sight at church, and all of the gatherings at the Polish Legion.
She will be greatly missed by us all, and always remembered in our heart and our prayers. Our deepest sympathy to you both and your entire family. Wieczny Opdoczynek...itd. The Nowakowski family.

My Deepest Condolences to you both and to your families. We will fondly remember 'ciocia'. Shes definitely not lost and neither will she be forgotten. Every Christmas I still make her famous rogaliki with the recipe that she gave me.

Pani Lach brings back a flood of childhood memories from Highfield Ave. A lovely lady who always welcomed me with open arms into her home and made the best French frys for Lucy and I! As a child, I noted her many talents including her incredible work ethic. A warm welcoming friend of my parents. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Lucy and Chris and your extended families. Rest In Peace Pani Lach

Hi Bas. Miss you so much. I remember the fries, but also remember Snoopy, sewing Barbie doll clothes (although I only ever remember having Skippy), your mom getting her Vitamin D in the sun, going to the beach with the Mileni’s, and of course the gracious role you played input wedding. Thank you for your comment

Zofia was an elegant woman of faith and love for her family. When she was at family events we always knew the food would be tasty because it was sprinkled with her love. It was a joy to be with her. She has been welcomed into Heaven this week. May love and wonderful memories surround Lucy, Chris and families.
