Paulanne and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a force of nature. I will always cherish memories of the good food and laughs in her kitchen and our great trip to the Spaghetti Factory and Ballet with your family and Mrs. Kuchar. May she rest in peace. Valerie (Ross) McLean

Dear Paulanne, Nonnie and Loretta, I was in Sears one day looking for a set of cooking utensils. As a young bride on a budget, I had selected one when your Mom came over and asked what I was looking for. She was not impressed with my choice, took it away from me and asked me to wait a moment while she disappeared into a back room. When she came back, she had another set in her hand ."These are better made" she said. When she gave it to me, I noticed that the higher price had been stroked out in red pen and the amount reduced to the price of the first pair I picked up. I will never forget her kindness. Those spatulas, ladles and flippers are still serving me well after 49 years of marriage. Her dry witt and direct way of communicating will be missed.

Yvonne, Loretta, Paulanne and families. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I have many fond memories of our high school years hanging out at your home, usually with your Mom a part of the "gang". She was an amazing lady and I'm sure she will be greatly missed. Thinking of you fondly, Theresa Unger.

Paulanne, Yvonne, and Loretta and families, please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother and grandmother. Due to distance, we saw her only infrequently, however, in recent years we have enjoyed seeing her at our annual "cousins gathering". She was definitely the life of the party and we will miss her delightful contributions, her sense of humour and her delicious desserts!

My sister Marlene Collini and Marion were the best pals when they were in high school. I am Marlene's sister Carolyn and 7 years younger than they were. I loved it when Marion came to our house on Vine Street, especially if it was a day my Mom had made potato pancakes because Marion would sit down and eat all the leftovers. As Marlene and Marion went through high school their lives went in different directions but we often thought and talked about how funny Marion was. I have pictures of the two of them during those years. They were great pals!! Marlene passed away a year and a half ago. Maybe they will meet again up in heaven and enjoy some potato pancakes!! RIP Marion, I know my sister is.
