PARKER, Thomas “Tom” J.
Passed away peacefully on January 7, 2021 at the St. Catharines Site of Niagara Health in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Jessie for 61 years. Loving father of Tom (Joanne), Mark (Rachel), and Maura (Pat). Papa will be missed by his grandchildren, Colleen (Anthony), Tom, and Meghan. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Tom moved to Canada in 1967 and worked at Atlas Steels becoming President and CEO prior to his retirement. He built a wonderful life for Jessie and the family in Canada. In retirement, they enjoyed golfing and friendships in their second home in Fort Myers, Florida. A truly good and honourable man, he will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his generosity of spirit and his humour. The family wish to thank the physicians and staff at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and at Niagara Health who cared for him over the years and in his final days. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, (905) 937-4444. A private Funeral Mass has been held at Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church followed by cremation.
