Esimonwe Kitugano (January 1 1968 - December 28 2020)
With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Esimonwe surrounded by her family at home on December 28 2020. Beloved wife of Tawimbi for 39 years. Devoted mother of Venas, Benjamin, Mwene, Jibu, Apendeki and Mfaume. Cherished Bibi of Gadafi, Charlotte, Lajerty, Lohi, Basunga, Anwarite and Busima. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Maisha (Pathere) and brothers Lukala (Tosha), Mlondja (Etabo) and Mwenebilongo (Eto)
Predeceased by her brother Lùbùnga (2014) (Mwajuma). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Esimonwe immigrated to Canada with her family in 2017 from Congo. They were lovingly welcomed by the First Mennonite Church in St. Catharines. She had a devout faith in the Lord. She would do anything for her family. If she wasn't working or serving the Lord, she was with her family.
Friends are welcome to visit at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home ceremony room with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery 432 Queenston Street St. Catharines.

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations, visitation is limited to 30% building capacity. All guests attending the visitation must wear a mask and must call (905) 937-4444 to make an appointment. Funeral service is limited to only 10 guests.
