Obituary of Wilbur Lea Cronk
It is with saddened hearts that the family would like to announce the sudden passing of Wilbur Lea Cronk on December 6th, 2020 at home with his family by his side. Wilbur will now be reunited with his loving wife, Betty of 54 years and his granddaughter, Jennifer. Wilbur is survived by his four children: Norma, Lea Jr., Pattie (Paul), and David (Michelle); his grandchildren: Matthew (Kailyn), Melissa (Tim) and KevinJr. Wilbur will be greatly missed by his sister, Evelyn Stone, brother-in-law, Robert Vervaecke and his sister-in-law Pat Cronk, Evelyn Russel, Glen and Marion Miller, and Myrna Miller. Wilbur also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Rhett, and Aurora and all of his nieces and nephews. Wilbur was a man of many talents and hobbies, some include stamps, coins, puzzles, and guitar playing. He was an avid member of the Optimist Club on Linwell Rd in St. Catharines and loved to play Bingo with his friends at the complex. In keeping with Wilbur's wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on December 10th 2020 from 10am-12pm with a celebration of life at 12pm. If desired, please donate in memory of Wilbur to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
