It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother Janina on Friday, December 4, 2020 just shy of her 92nd birthday. Wife of the late Bogumil (2017). Loving Mommy to Elzbieta (Jiri), Izabela (Piotr) and Halina (Pawel). Cherished Babcia to Bartek (Caroline), Eva (Joseph), Pierre (Reika) and Old Babcia to Sophia and Stephan. Sister to Stanislawa in Poland. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members all in Poland and friends in Poland and Canada.Janina had a passion for art, reading and traveling. Many times she would lose herself in her passions and forget about the time. The family would like to thank all the staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for all your care, love and support. In accordance with Janina’s wishes there is no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Aloysius, 317 Morton St., Thorold on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 12 p.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., St. Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to Gillian’s Place, Children’s Wish Foundation or to Wellspring Niagara.
