Obituary of Vincenza Mascia

It is with great sadness that the family of Vincenza Mascia announces her passing on November 3, 2020 at the age of 84.

Vincenza will be forever missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Rinaldo and their children: Pasquale (predeceased), Vicki (Fred), Clara and Antonio.

Vincenza will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Lino (Antonella), Tara (Paul), Katie (Gary), Corey (Jennifer) and Ryan along with her great-grandchildren: Gianluca, Marco, Sebastian, Julia, Trevor, Lauren, Jack, Gavin, Ryden, Damien and Logan.

Vincenza will never be far from the thoughts of her brother, sister, numerous in-laws,  nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, Italy, England and dear friends.

A special thank you to the great care provided by the staff of NHS St.  Catharines and PSW, Luz.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Arthritis Foundation.

Friends and family are invited to gather at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home at 3PM. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Alfred Catholic Church on Monday November 9, 2020 at 11:00AM with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations - visitation attendance is limited to 30% building capacity. Funeral attendance is limited to 120 attendees. Attendance will be monitored to maintain capacity and physical distancing for the health and safety of our staff and guests. All guests attending the visitation or funeral MUST wear a  mask.
