Obituary of Daniel Wilfie Herzog
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel Wilfie Herzog, aged 28, on Thursday October 22, 2020. Beloved son of Robert and Gisela (nee Litner). Proud brother of Ian and Jaime who lost their best friend. Much loved Grandson of Claire Litner and Irene Herzog. Pre-deceased by his grandfathers Irving Litner and Wilf Herzog. Daniel’s love of life, his tenacity and courage left an impression on everyone he met. He was a loyal and an intelligent young man and his legacy lives on in all those that loved him. Our love goes to Dr. Karen Yee, Dr. Anna, Dr. Frank (Fotios) Michelis, Dr. Pamela Mosher, Dr. Chaim Bell and Dr. Jewel Gold and all of the nurses on 15A. In lieu of flowers and gifts Daniel’s family would deeply appreciate donations to be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – Histology and Leukemia Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Private graveside service will take place at B’nai Israel Cemetery, St. Catharines, on Sunday October 25, 2020 1pm. Strictly private Shiva. Thank you for respecting the families wishes.

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations - funeral attendance is limited to 30% building capacity. All guests attending a visitation or funeral must bring a mask.There will be a brief opportunity to pay respects to the family and their loved one. Cemetery attendance is limited to 50 guests
