We were so shocked to hear of Sheila's passing... Sheila and I worked closely since my first term in Niagara Region in 1990, and again during my time as Sheila's manager in the 2000's. Sheila was extremely dedicated and hard working and an absolute pleasure to work with. A fond memory was when Sheila earned her "Quarter Century" at Enbridge where we all wore "Sheila Buttons" in celebration of her dedicated service. I will miss her deeply. Our sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to Bob, Kristin and the rest of Sheila's family.

As I sit here thinking about my old friend Sheila it brings me to tears. We went to high school together at Grey Highlands through grades 11 & 12 and became pals. The first time I ever got on a plane was with Sheila when we went out west to the Okanagan Valley. We both fell in love with Kelowna. We also went to Cypress Gardens in Florida. After we graduated we went our separate ways for a bit then connected shortly after and shared an apartment together in Kitchener. Sheila got a job as a dispatcher with the Kitchener Police Force and I got a job at the Ontario Motor League (CAA). Our next move was to Mississauga where we lived with my older brother Danny (now deceased) and worked at Mother's Pizza. Now my memory is a little foggy right now but I think that is where she met Tom. We also played on a women's softball team sponsored by Consumers Gas and I believe that is when she started her career and eventually moved to Fort Erie. We lost touch for many years but Sheila was always in my thoughts. I went to visit her in Fort Erie when her daughters were still in their teens and it was so great to see her after many years had passed. We just recently reconnected on Facebook in April (she was trying to find me) and we had planned to meet again in the near future. I am so sad right now and cannot believe you are gone. I will always remember you Sheila and we will connect when it is my time to leave. Love your forever friend, Jennine Lomoro.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Sheila’s passing. She was my Supervisor at Consumer's Gas during the 1990s. She was smart, thoughtful, kind and had a great sense of humour.
I recently met her when I was out shopping and she was enjoying her retirement. She was a proud mother to her two daughters, who along with her husband will miss her loving spirit. Rest In Peace sweet Sheila.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Sheila for the better part of 35 years. I have watched Kristen and Alicia grow up to be amazing, caring women. This is a testament to your mom.
For me, Sheila started out as a colleague at work, our friendship formed over many years, trips taken with the girls, and the infamous Martin cruise, parties attended, stories and secrets shared, she was a “come over and we’ll have a glass of wine” girlfriend. Distance and time didn’t change our relationship when we talked, it was if we had seen each just the other day!
I remember Bob coming into the picture and how smitten she was with him. Bob, you had her “at the cowboy hat”. You two were made for each other and I was so excited to see she was smiling and happy.
Kristen, Alicia, Bob, I am heartbroken for you, she will be missed by many that knew her. I am blessed to have known her and to have been able to call her my friend.
You are I’m my thoughts, Reneta Luszczyk-Lamers

I cannot tell you how shocked I am to hear of Sheila’s passing. We had plans to meet up once golf season ended. Sheila and I worked together at Enbridge for many years. We became very good friends and often met for lunch or breakfast after I retired. When Sheila retired we planned to spend more time together. I still cannot believe she is gone. My deepest sympathy to Bob and the girls. My heart breaks for you all.
