Obituary of Francesco DiPietro
DiPietro, Francesco “Frank” (1942-2020)
Passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family in the early morning of Monday September 7, 2020. Francesco leaves behind his loving wife Anna Maria of 56 years, his sons Nick (Irene) and Gianni (Victoria). Francesco left a great legacy to his wonderful grandchildren: Gabriel, Chiara, Melina, Avelina and Roman. Also left to mourn him is Francesco’s sister Maria (Adolfo) and brother Giovanni (Maria).
He is predeceased by his brothers Federico (Michelina), Gaetano (Antoinetta) and Angelo (Maria).
Francesco was a proud welder for the Port Weller Dry Docks for 20 years. He was a jokester. Always looking on the bright side of life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton Street, St.Catharines on Thursday September 10 2020 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 9:00PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church 272 Vine Street St. Catharines on Friday September 11, 2020 at 11:00AM. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations - visitation attendance is limited to 30% building capacity. Funeral attendance is limited to 120 attendees. Attendance will be monitored to maintain capacity and physical distancing for the health and safety of our staff and guests. All guests attending the visitation or funeral MUST wear a mask.
