Obituary of Michael Richard Di Pasquale
Di Pasquale, Michael - After a short and courageous endeavour with cancer, on Monday February 13, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hosptial in his 50th year. Loving father of Michael Jr. Cherished son of Vida and Roman. Beloved brother of Donna (Ed) Vanderloos, his niece Jessica and her boyfriend Brad. Will be sadly missed by his girlfriend Cathy. Loving nephew of Rodolfo, Orlando (Giusta), Dina, Sam (Adele); Kris and family, Maria and family, and Kristina and family. Survived by his cousins Nancy, Sammy, Joe (Kerry) of Niagara, Paola and family, Milena and family, Massimo and family, Maria Teresa and family, Maurizio and family, Silvana and family, Maria Paola and family. Special godson of Lisa Di Maurizio and family and Don Baiocco and family. Also survived by his extended family from the United States. Predeceased by his grandparents Domenica and Guido, Otmar and Josefa Kremzer; aunts and uncles Anita, Lina, Emerico, and Everisto. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Geisbrecht, Dr. Van der Walt and especially the nurses of Palliative Care - Moores 2 at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street for visitation on Friday between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Friday at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy will be at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Saturday at 9:30am with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital - Walker Cancer Centre in Michael's honour.
