How do you say goodbye to friends you have known since the teenage years ? It was only a short couple of weeks ago that we lost our friend Wayne, and now we must say goodbye to dear Pat. Relocating to Toronto 55 years ago kept us apart,but we maintained our friendship. We have great memories of our teenage years, becoming adults, marrying, raising children and enjoying long and happy lives. Pat and Wayne's life together is a beautiful book, and in leaving us so close together, it's ending is as they would want it.
