Obituary of Laura Lee Catillo
CATILLO, Laura Lee,
After a courageous battle, Laura Lee Catillo passed away on February, 27th 2020. Loving mother of Jeffrey Moss, Michael Taker and Jami Taker (Justin Cronkwright, Ayva-Rae). Cherished by father David Catillo (Patricia), mother Lynne Cloutier (Ronald) - (predeceased) and sister Donna Rugamas (Raul). She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
Laura started her career as a health care aid at Hastings Manor in Belleville. It was a rewarding career until a physical injury prevented her from continuing. Laura worked in various industries and was most happy when she landed in the tradeshow business. This career brought her many joys such as travelling, sales and promotion and basically talking for a living. Her biggest joy was making many, many friends along the way wherever she went. Laura loved her 3 children, animals, sunsets, flowers and gardening. A highlight of Laura’s life was when Ayva-Rae joined the family 7 years ago with her daughter’s partner Justin. Laura’s favourite colour was pink, she said it made her happy. Please feel free to wear something pink however it is not mandatory.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. followed by a Celebration of her Life at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7th at George Darte Funeral Home on 585 Carlton St. in St Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA of Ontario. Flowers are always welcome as she loved her flowers.
