Obituary of Martha Maria Doszczyn
MARTHA MARIA DOSZCZYN (nee KOBYLANSKY)
1955 – 2020
Martha Doszczyn passed away suddenly on, Wednesday February 5, 2020 in her 64th year. Martha was cherished wife of Zenko, mother to Orest (Nicole), proud Babcia of Roman and Isabelle. She was sister to Orest Kobylansky (Dania) and loving aunt to Maxim and Anna. Sister– in-law to Pat (Mark) and aunt to Ray (Elizabeth) Nadia (Ben) and Bob (Michelle).
Martha was predeceased by her parents Maria and Zenon. Martha will be remembered fondly by the loving family she has left behind.
In her youth she was a member of PLAST and currently was a member of Myrhorod, a senior’s club at church. Myrhorod will miss her presence at their weekly bingo.
Friends may call at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday February 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for visitation. Panachyda will take place during visitation at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral with Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 14 Rolls Ave. (Niagara St. and Vine St.) on Monday February 10, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Upon completion, the family invites friends and family to return to the church for a Tryzna (Memorial Meal).
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be directed to the Sts. Cyril Methodius Church Building Fund or to The Canadian charity “Chalice” that helps the poorest children in different countries including Ukraine.
