The world has lost a beautiful soul, and Cathy was beautiful inside and out. Although faced with many challenges, she rose above those challenges with grace and dignity. Cathy was predeceased by her husband, my brother Don, her parents-in-law, Mel and Kaye Mac Lean, her brother-in-law, Arnie, and her grand niece, Adriana. She leaves behind to mourn her sisters-in-law Janie and her son Sluaghan, Lorna (Mike) and their son Zachary, and Eileen and her daughters Katie and Siobhan. Our deepest sympathy to all those who loved Cathy and to all those whom Cathy loved. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again. Love, Janie

Thanks for your kind words Janie. Catherine shared lovely stories about Don with our family. My dad (Steve) put up photos of Catherine and Don at the funeral service and spoke about their life together during his speech. We know that Catherine was such a big part of your family's life and how saddened you are by this sudden news. Please know you are in our thoughts.

Hello, I am so sad to hear of Catherine’s passing. She was a gentle although gutsy soul, whom I remember as a fun playmate when we were youngsters, roaming the woods near Lac Barron in the summers and when my mom and dad moved us to Burlington, I always enjoyed when we visited the Bloomer family or they visited us.
