Obituary of Terri Lake

LAKE, Terri

(1958-2019)

Passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 with her precious family by her side. Terri leaves behind her loving husband George “Georgie” who could make her laugh like no one else, her children who she will always protect and love even from afar Ami (Kevin) and Bobby (Chantal). Mamma will miss the most her grandchildren, Jade, Jazmin, Neveah, Jewelea, Mason and Lynken who she loved more than life itself. Terri will be fondly remembered by her siblings Tammi (Dave), Timmi, Tommi (Tracy), and Torri (Jen). She also leaves behind her Lake family, Sue (Reg), Roger (Marg), Pat (Jim), Lorraine (Gary), Ray (Helen), Bobby (Terry-Lynn), Cathy (Randy) and many nieces and nephews. Terri will always be loved and remembered by the Culp family Bob (Loise), Donna (Al), Dennis (Kim), Brenda, Diane (Bill) and Brian. Family was always first in Terri’s heart. She will be dearly missed by her work family at the George Darte Funeral Home, a place where she proudly helped families daily. Terri was predeceased by her parents Urban (1996) and Nancy (2002) Paugh, and by her first love and husband, Bob Culp (1998). She will now be joining them, along with her furball friend, Furbi.Thank you to the Oncology Unit at the St. Catharines General Hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Torigian and the LHIN Care coordinator Nora for their compassion. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Terri’s Life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow the service. Terri has asked for no flowers but would love balloons to celebrate her life of family, love, music, dance and thankfulness. Memorial donations may be made to an education fund for Terri’s 6 grandchildren.
