Gilda’s first passion was her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her garden, making homemade bread and pasta, sauce and sausage making, knitting and especially sharing time with her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and would do anything to help others. She was kind, generous and selfless even in her final moments. We know that she will continue to watch over us from above. Riposa in pace cara Mamma.
Sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at the NHS- St. Catharines Site, especially DR. Camacho, to her family physician, Dr. Ricciardi and to the staff at The LIHN. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers being held at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 10:30 am.
