Obituary of Paul Joseph Grossi

GROSSI, Paul Joseph - Passed away on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 with his loving family by his side at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Jean (nee D'Orazio) for 72 years. Cherished father of Louis (Kathy), the late Carmel (John), Joanne (Jim), Ken and Steve (Viviane). Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Anthony and Patrick and his sister in law Mary. Predeceased by his sister Agnes (Marino), Angelina(Jim), his brother Reginald and his nephew George Cuddy.  He will be sadly missed by George's family and  Paul's daughter in law Connie.  Paul was our patriarch in both family and  business. He was a proud founding partner in Grossi Tile and Building Centre. Paul was a past President of Niagara Construction Association. He was a long time member of Club Roma and Seniors,  St. Alfred's Seniors and White Oakes Tennis Club. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, November 10th from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Monday, November 11th at 12p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara  would be appreciated by the family.
